I know this is an MOT fail..... HELP!

My MOT is due on the 24th April. The images show the current condition of front drivers side of the car after a recent accident.

1. I know the headlamp is cracked and will need replacing and I will get this sorted.

2. The body work is more of an issue. I know it will fail on this alone. However I saw online the bodywork is only required to be secure ie not a hazard to others. Does this mean if I can accomplish this it will pass an MOT? The car drives perfectly. Too much cost involved in dent repair (its aesthetics dont bother me in the slightest) I would rather scrap the car.

Any advice would be highly appeciated.

Any sharp edges, fouling of the tyre to be considered , headlamp aim is likely to be affected, does the bonnet open and close securely to name a few, but as its a KA there is a likelihood of other unseen problems like corrosion or worn suspension components that could affect your MOT so it would be best to have a close hands on inspection Carried out before making a decision on how to go forward. Why not just stick it in for a test and take action from there.

Thank you so much for your advice, however I do wish I hadn't attempted to open the bonnet . It shuts but not locks! The headlight is pushed back and its casing is all cracked out of place

unfortunately your car seems to be in an unroadworthy condition and is probably a danger to drive because some fool asked you about your bonnet status, I am sorry . I would probably scrap the car to be honest considering the value of scrap.😢

Typical . I weighed in an undamaged rust-free one today because it wouldn't start . Not my decision . Customer wanted it crushing .

Filled it with scrap . Got 1300kg on the scales for 100 quid .
