Been there got the T shirt. The problem the customer had after letting him blow off his steam was a  simple solution. The CCTV recorded the car coming into the parking lot. The CCTV then recorded the tester moving and driving the car into the test bay, and the CCTV then showed the car going into and out of the mot bay. The damage on the car did not reflect the surroundings in the garage, i.e. no ramp scraping etc. The customer went away with his tail between his legs sort of speak. 

Whether it is liked or not, the time we live in, we must have provisions in place to protect ourselves at all times. If your going to road test a customers car, take your mobile phone and use it.

my ctvv cover the outside of the station as well as the inside as we had the same sort off problem door scraped on the car but it was not done in my place all i did was pointed out the cameras and the fact that he drove it into the mot parking bay and it was parked back there by myself your have to be careful these days its just part of buisness

We had one of them the other day, she came to the garage door trying to sell me goods out the back of her van. Are you the buyer she says repeatedly, your waisting my time she says repeatedly. I said to her your super market packet of toilet rolls at £19.90 are too expensive given the same brand in the bargain shop for the same amount of rolls is only £9.99 

I didn't say anything, but nothing in her van had not already fallen off the back of a van to get into her van!

Round my way (South West) Albanians are favourite "suspects".
But there is a way to deal with them. Which I have NO intention of describing!
